Animation of seniors in the Social Services Centre in Jesenik

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je evaluace nabídky možností animace seniorů v konkrétním zařízení sociálních služeb. V rámci práce popisuji jakou formou animace seniorů probíhá, jaké motivy vedou zaměstnance zařízení k provádění animace, jaké jsou jejich vnější a vnitřní kompetence, jaké používají metody a techniky, případně s jakými se potýkají bariérami. Dále se věnuji klientům Domova pro seniory, kde zjišťuji jaká je jejich motivace se nabízené animace účastnit, jaká jsou jejich očekávání a jaká je výsledná realita. V závěru navrhuji optimalizaci.

Abstract:

The point of this thesis is the evaluation of the offer of the possibilities of seniors animation in the particular social services centre. In this thesis I describe which form is used in animation programme, what are the reasons that lead our employees to do that job and what are their inner and outer competencies, which methods and techniques they use and what could be the barriers they encounter. In the next part I give my attention to the clients of Retirement home in which I reveal their motivation to take a part in offered animation programmes, what are their expectations and what the final result is. In the conclusion I suggest an optimalization.
