Abstract:

Mikuláš Konáč z Hodiškova a jeho Kniha o hořekování a naříkání Spravedlivosti, královny a paní všech ctností Překladatel, spisovatel a knihtiskař Mikuláš Konáč z Hodiškova patřil bezesporu k významným osobnostem, které se aktivně podílely na utváření kulturní a společenské situace první poloviny 16. století. Svým širokým překladatelským a spisovatelským záběrem uvedl do češtiny mnoho děl, která českou literaturu počátku a poloviny 16. století posouvala do blízkosti evropské humanistické literární tvorby. Účelem této práce je umístit Konáčovo alegorické putování Kniha o hořekování a naříkání Spravedlivosti, královny a paní všech ctností do kontextu českého humanismu a renesance, poukázat na společné rysy s jinými moralistními prácemi té doby a upozornit na možné spojitosti a rozdíly.

Abstract:

Mikuláš Konáč z Hodiškova and his Kniha o hořekování a naříkání Spravedlivosti, královny a paní všech ctností (A Book of Mourning and Weeping of the Justice, the Queen and Lady of All Virtues) There is no doubt that Mikuláš Konáč z Hodiškova, an interpreter, writer, printer and publisher, can be seen as one of the important individuals who actively participated in forming of the cultural and social milieu of the Czech Kingdom in the first half of the sixteenth century. His wide range of activities both as an interpreter and a writer helped to introduce to the Czech literature of the first half of the century a number of works which moved it to a close proximity of the European humanist literary production. This study aims at placing Konáčs allegorical journey Kniha o hořekování a naříkání Spravedlivosti, královny a paní všech ctností (A Book of Mourning and Weeping of the Justice, the Queen and Lady of All Virtues) in the context of Czech humanism and Renaissance and tries to present some common features which it shares with the other pieces of contemporary moralist literature. Finally it also tries to offer possible similarities or differences.
