Analysis of credit development in eurozone

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to take measure to the excent to which demand for credit is formed, as well as from material and entity point of view in eurozone at the impact to the future economical growth. The diploma thesis deals with analysis of the credit development in eurozone in the period from 1999 till 2011. The whole thesis is divided to four chapters. The first chapter defines the credit as a banking product and his division according to different perspectives and the two-tier banking system. The second chapter is given to the financial integration in eurozone, its monetary policy and to the tools of integration of the financial market and to the implementation of projects and directives into national central banks of the forming countries of eurozone. The third chapter brings the analyses of individual credits in eurozone in the named period grafically and by description. The fourth chapter is dedicated to individual economical factors, which affect the future development of the credits in eurozone.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce je posúdiť do akej miery sa formuje dopyt po úveroch z časového, ako aj vecného a subjektového hľadiska v eurozóne s dopadom na budúci ekonomický rast. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou vývoja úverov v eurozóne od roku 1999 do roku 2011. Celá práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. V prvej kapitole je definovaný úver ako bankový produkt ako i jeho členenie podľa rôznych hľadísk a dvojstupňový bankový systém. Druhá kapitola je venovaná finančnej integrácii v eurozóne, jej menovej politiky a nástrojov na zjednotenie finančného trhu a implementácii projektov a direktív do centrálnych národných bánk krajín tvoriacich eurozónu. Tretia kapitola prináša analýzu jednotlivých úverov v eurozóne v uvedenom období graficky i popisom. Štvrtá kapitola je venovaná jednotlivým ekonomickým faktorom, ktoré ovplyvňujú budúci vývoj úverov v eurozóne.
