Communism as a Religion

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje zkoumání náboženských projevů komunistů a komunistické strany. A to především na území Československa po roce 1945 a Sovětského svazu od začátku jeho existence. Ke zpracování byla použita literatura a jiné publikace, jejichž autory jsou např. Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, James Gregor, Hans Maier a Robert Service. Publikace použité pro tvorbu této práce mi byly zapůjčeny z Národní knihovny ČR, Městské knihovny v Praze a ze Studijní a vědecké knihovny v Hradci Králové. Práce analyzuje a zkoumá historii komunismu, kroky komunistické strany vedoucí k moci, uctívání a posvátnosti, ale také postoj komunistů k ostatním náboženským skupinám.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is researching the religion manifestation within communist party and communist themselves. Primarily on czechoslovakia territory after year 1945 and also on Soviet union territory from the beginning of its existence. The specialized literature used for making of this work was borrowed from National library of Czech republic, Research and scientific library in Hradec králové and Municipal library of Prague. This thesis also analyze history of communism, steps of communism towards control, worshipping and sanctity, but also attitude of communist against other religious groups.
