Specification of technical and practical training teacher's work in education of students with left-hand dominance

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Specifika práce učitele odborných předmětů a praktického vyučování ve výuce žáků s dominancí levé ruky“ pojednává o problematice levorukých jedinců a o jejich komplikacích při odborném vzdělávání. V teoretické části je zpracována genotypová závislost, počty levorukých jedinců a jejich obtíže v „pravorukém světě“. V další části jsou popsány anatomické struktury mozku, umístění primárních korových oblastí mozku a jejich souvislosti s laterální dominancí párových orgánů, především horních končetin. Kapitola o diagnostice laterální dominance pojednává o možnostech testování jedinců a o klasifikaci stupně laterality. V teoretické části je zpracována pasáž o důsledcích násilného přeučování a úloha školského zařízení a pedagogických pracovníků ve vztahu k levorukým žákům. Na závěr teoretické části je zpracován přehled materiálních prostředků, které se standardně vyskytují v zubní laboratoři. Technické prostředky jsou dále charakterizovány s ohledem na vhodnost použití levorukými žáky. Empirická část je tvořena pedagogickým výzkumem v oblasti vzdělávání levorukých žáků. V této části je detailně zpracována analýza dotazníkového šetření. Koncepce dotazníku je zaměřena na odborné vzdělávání žáků ve školních zubních laboratořích. Rozbor odpovědí dotazníkového šetření poskytuje odpovědi na základní výzkumné otázky o laterální dominanci žáků. V závěru jsou shrnuty všechny poznatky o laterální dominanci žáků a současně jsou popsány skutečnosti pedagogického působení pro efektivní vyučování žáků s odlišnou preferencí horních končetin. Praktickým výstupem diplomové práce je potvrzení komplikovanějšího zacházení s materiálními prostředky a komplikovanější profesní přípravy žáků odborného vzdělávání.

Abstract:

The thesis „Specification of technical and practical training teacher's work in education of students with left-hand dominance“ discusses left-handed individuals and their complicated education in technical subjects. The theoretical part processes genotype dependence, numbers of left-handed people and their difficulties in the „right-handed world“. The following part describes anatomical brain structures, placement of primary cortical areas of brain and their relatedness to lateral dominance of pair organs, predominantly upper limbs. The chapter about lateral dominance diagnostics deals with the possibilities of testing individuals and classification of the degree of lateralization. The thesis also presents a passage about the consequences of forcible “re-education” and the role of school and teachers in relation to left-handed students. Finally, the summary of material instruments commonly occurring in the dental laboratory is described. The technical equipment is characterized regarding to their appropriateness in the usage of left-handed students. The empirical part introduces pedagogical research in the area of left-handed students' education. The detailed analysis of the survey is processed. The conception of the questionnaire is focused on practical training of students in school dental laboratories. The analysis of the survey gives answers to basic research questions about lateral dominance of students. In conclusion, all the findings about lateral dominance of students are summarized, concurrently pedagogical influence on effective education of students with different upper limbs dominance is described. The practical outcome of the thesis confirmed more complicated manipulation with material instruments and more difficult professional training of technical subject students.
