Life of the Women in Moravské Kopanice Region

Abstract:

Práce se v první části věnuje teoretickým aspektům orální historie a představení této metody v souvislosti s jejím možným využitím v etnologii. Ve druhé části je prezentován výzkum každodenního života žen z Moravských Kopanic, konkrétně z kopaničářské obce Žítková. Výzkum vedený metodou orální historie se zaměřil na životopisná vyprávění žen. Získané informace jsou doplněny údaji o historii regionu a životě na Moravských Kopanicích v průběhu posledních dvou století. Práce obsahuje kompletní přepis tří rozhovorů, včetně protokolů a záznamů o rozhovoru.

Abstract:

First part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical aspects of oral history. The method of oral history is presented in connection with ethnology and the possible application of oral history in this field. The second part of the thesis presents a research carried out by this method. The research was focused on everyday life of women from Moravské Kopanice region. A full transcript of three interviews collected during the research is accompanied by protocols and records of the respective interviews. Background information about the history of the region and life in the area is also a part of the outcome of the research.
