Memory traces and their use in forensic practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem paměťových stop a jejich využitím v kriminalistické praxi. Úvodní pasáž teoretické části práce vymezuje kriminalistickou vědu, praxi a stopy, později samotnou paměťovou stopu spolu s dalšími s ní úzce souvisejícími tématy. Dále představuje metody pracující s paměťovou stopou v kriminalistické praxi, zvláštně pak výslech jako metodu klíčovou. Empirická část popisuje půlroční kvalitativní výzkum a jeho výsledky v rámci zvoleného cíle práce. Cílem práce je zmapovat uchování paměťové stopy v různých časových intervalech na základě výpovědí respondentů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the phenomenon of memory traces and their use in forensic practice. The introductory passage of the theoretical part of the thesis defines forensic science, practice and evidence, later focusing on the memory trace itself along with other closely related topics. Furthermore, it introduces methods working with memory traces in forensic practice, especially interrogation as a key method. The empirical part describes a six-month qualitative research and its results within the chosen aim of the thesis. The aim of the thesis is to map the retention of the memory trace in different time intervals based on the statements of the respondents.
