Musical Works of B. Smetana and Their Application in Music Lessons at Primary School

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá uplatněním Smetanovy tvorby v poslechových činnostech hudební výchovy na 1. stupni ZŠ. Jejím cílem je představit dílo hudebního skladatele Bedřicha Smetany, zachytit důležité aspekty poslechu hudby na ZŠ a na základě těchto informací uvést nové didaktické náměty pro práci s poslechovými ukázkami z tvorby jmenovaného skladatele. Kapitola první potvrzuje význam a hodnotu Smetanova hudebního počinu a také dokazuje, že ze skladatelovy rozmanité tvorby lze vybírat další poslechový materiál do výuky. Druhá a třetí kapitola poukazují na potřebu aktivního poslechu umělecky hodnotné hudby na ZŠ a předkládají fakt, že zejména snahou o analytické vnímání různorodé hudby podpoříme rozvoj hudebních schopností u žáků mladšího školního věku. Čtvrtá a pátá část diplomové práce představují možnosti práce s poslechovými skladbami z tvorby B. Smetany na 1. stupni ZŠ, jež jsou uvedené v příslušných učebnicích hudební výchovy, nebo mnou didakticky zpracované.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the application of Smetana's creation of listening activities in music education in the first grade of primary school. Its aim is to introduce the work of composer Bedřich Smetana, to capture important aspects of listening to music in primary school and based on this information to provide new teaching techniques using listening examples from the works by this composer. The first chapter confirms the importance and value of Smetana's musical achievements and also proves that the composer's diverse creation uses other audio materials in teaching. The second and third chapters point to the need for active listening to artistically valuable music in primary school and presents the fact that the analytical perception of different types of music will support the development of children musical abilities in elementary school. The fourth and fifth part of this thesis introduce the possibilities to work with songs from Smetana's work in the first grade of primary school, which are listed in the appropriate music textbooks or can be taught.
