Congenital developmental defects and their prevention

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku vrozených vývojových vad a jejich prevenci. V teoretické části se autorka zabývá úvodem do teratologie, příčinami vrozených vad a popisuje podrobněji vybrané vrozené vývojové vady. Pozornost je také soustředěna na primární a sekundární prevenci vrozených vad. Součástí bakalářské práce je i část praktická, kde autorka vyhodnocuje informovanost žen o problematice vrozených vad a jejich prevence.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on congenital malformations and their prevention. In the theoretical part, the authoress deals with introduction to teratology, causes of congenital malformations and she describes some selected congenital malformations in more detail. The attention is also paid to primary and secondary prevention of congenital malformations. One component of the bachelor thesis is also the practical part, where the authoress evaluates awareness of women about problematics of congenital malformations and their prevention.
