This thesis deals with the positions of the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council on humanitarian intervention. It verifies the argument that events after September 11, 2001 have caused a decline of popularity of humanitarian intervention among the UN Permanent Five. Táto práca sa zaoberá pozíciami stálych členov Bezpečnostnej rady Organizácie spojených národov voči humanitárnej intervencii.
