Miloš Hynšt's Performance Art at the Mahen Theatre. Season 1965/1966

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the program of the political anti-illusive theater with the focus on the directional processes of Milos Hynst in the Mahens Theater in Brno. The thesis analyzes his activity as the drama art-director. The emphasis being the director´s three main inscenations from the season 1965/1966. The main part of the thesis describes period in the first half of the sixties and concentrates on the changes of the dramaturgical program of the drama. By means of analyzing the inscenations from this era the thesis examines in detail director´s inscenational methods and tries to create a more exact image about the visual side of the respective plays.

Abstract:

Bakalárska diplomová práca sa zaoberá programom politického antiiluzívneho divadla so zreteľom na režijne postupy Miloša Hynšta v Mahenovom divadle v Brne. Rozoberá jeho pôsobenie vo funkcii umeleckého šéfa činohry a primárne analyzuje tri režisérove inscenácie z divadelnej sezóny 1965/1966. Začiatok práce je venovaný prvej polovici šesťdesiatych rokov, so zreteľom na obmeny dramaturgického programu činohry. Na analýzach inscenácií z tejto sezóny približujeme režisérove inscenačné postupy a pokúšame sa vytvoriť presnejší obraz o vizuálnej stránke jednotlivých hier.
