Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá finančním controllingem ve vybraném podniku. Cílem práce je vymezení metodologické základny controllingu a jeho nástrojů a následné posouzení využití vybraných oblastí controllingu v konkrétním podnikatelském subjektu. Dílčími cíli jsou analýza možností využití nástrojů controllingu ve finančním řízení konkrétního podniku, vyhledávání silných a slabých míst a využití této metody v praxi a v neposlední řadě také doporučení konkrétních opatření vedoucích ke zlepšení praxe v oblasti controllingu. Hypotézou práce je předpoklad, že využití controllingových metod ve finančním řízení podniku přináší mj. správné nastavení a hierarchii priorit vedoucích k upevnění finanční stability podniku. V diplomové práci je aplikována metoda analýzy, především pak finanční analýza vybraného podniku. Analyzovány jsou vybrané finanční ukazatele, rozvaha a výsledovka společnosti. V práci je aplikována také komparace podnikové reality s teorií spolu se syntézou poznatků do podoby doporučení a návrhů opatření. Domnívám se, že ve zvoleném podniku nejsou zcela využity všechny prostředky, které mohou vést ke zlepšení samotného chodu firmy. Na základě provedených analýz je cílem zjistit a zkontrolovat stav strategie firmy a to především zda společnost disponuje konkrétní finanční strategií a plánem. Díky zkušenostem s konkrétním podnikatelským podnikem a mému přímému kontaktu s praxí využiji metodu případové studie.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with financial controlling in a selected company. It aims at defining of the controlling methodological basis and tools and at subsequent assessment of the application of selected areas of controlling in a particular business entity. Partial objectives of the thesis include the analysis of the possibilities of using the controlling tools in the financial management of the specific company, in the detection of strengths and weaknesses and use of the described method in practice and, last but not least, in recommendation of specific measures focused on the improvement of the controlling practice. The hypothesis of the thesis consists in the assumption that the use of the controlling methods in a company's financial management brings, among other things, correct setting and hierarchy of priorities enhancing financial stability of the company. The thesis utilizes analytical methods, in particular the financial analysis of the selected enterprise. Specific financial indicators, the balance sheet, the income statement and the cash flow table were analysed. The thesis also features a comparison of the business reality and the theory, as well as the synthesis of acquired knowledge into the form of recommendations and measures to be taken. I believe that the resources having the potential of improving the operation of the company are not fully utilized. The objective was to find out and review the state of the company's strategy using the performed analyses, and namely to determine whether the company had a specific financial strategy and plan. Considering my experience related to the particular enterprise and my direct contact with the practice, I've decided to use the method of a case study.
