Biobankovníctvo je veľmi dôležité pre výskum, no skladovanie vzoriek má svoje náklady, takže je dôležité rozhodnúť, ktoré vzorky sú najcennejšie. Táto práca vo svojom začiatku uvádza do problematiky biobankovníctva, zoznamuje čitateľa s infraštruktúrou BBMRI-ERIC a popisuje funkcionalitu komponentov, ktoré táto infraštruktúra na svoje fungovanie využíva. Biobanking is vital for research, but storing samples has costs, so it's important to decide which samples are most valuable. In its beginning, this thesis introduces the issue of biobanking, introduces the reader to the BBMRI-ERIC infrastructure, and describes the functionality of the components that this infrastructure uses for its functioning.
