Use of diagnostic procedures in the professional activities of kindergarten teachers.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím diagnostických postupů učitelkami mateřských škol. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem pedagogická diagnostika, popsán její proces, příprava, plánování, a nakonec i samotná realizace učitelkou mateřské školy. V poslední kapitole teoretické části popisujeme osobnost učitelky mateřské školy, důvody a motivaci k realizaci diagnostiky, proces poznávání dětí, zásady diagnostikování a také podmínky, které jejich práci ovlivňují. V praktické části zjišťujeme, zda učitelky mateřských škol skutečně využívají diagnostické postupy tak, jak jsou teoreticky popsány. K tomuto zjištění se postupně dostáváme pomocí stanovených dílčích cílů. Zajímáme se, zda učitelky diagnostické postupy plánují, jaké jsou důvody jejich počínání, jakým způsobem zjištěné poznatky vyhodnocují a zda mají k realizaci pedagogické diagnostiky vytvořeny vhodné podmínky. Pro účely sběru dat byla zvolena kvantitativní průzkumná strategie, konkrétně metoda dotazníkového šetření. Analýzou dotazníku, postupným vyhodnocením jednotlivých otázek, prostřednictvím komentáře, grafů a souhrnným vyhodnocením, byly zodpovězeny stanovené cíle. Průzkumný soubor byl složen ze čtyřiceti učitelek mateřských škol z Ostravy a okolí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of diagnostic procedures by kindergarten teachers. The theoretical part defines the concept of pedagogical diagnostics, describes its process, preparation, planning, and finally the actual implementation by a kindergarten teacher. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, we describe the personality of the kindergarten teacher, the reasons and motivation to realize the diagnostics, the process of learning about children, the principles of diagnosis and also the conditions that influence their work. In the practical part, we find out whether kindergarten teachers actually use diagnostic procedures as they are theoretically described. This finding is gradually being achieved through the set targets. We are interested in whether the teachers plan diagnostic procedures, what are the reasons for their behavior, how they evaluate the findings and whether appropriate conditions are created for the implementation of pedagogical diagnostics. For the purpose of data collection was chosen a quantitative exploratory strategy, specifically the questionnaire survey method. Our goals were answered by the analysis of the questionnaire, the gradual evaluation of the individual questions with comments, charts and with the summary evaluation. The research group was composed of forty kindergarten teachers from Ostrava and its surroundings.
