Abstract:
Diplomová práce rozebírá biografické prvky v románech “Flaubertův papoušek” a “Arthur a George” od britského spisovatele Juliana Barnese. Práce se zaměřuje na postmoderní aspekty, hlas vypravěče, problematiku objektivity a na autoritativnost historie.
Abstract:
The thesis analyses the biographical elements in “Flaubert’s Parrot” and “Arthur & George”, two of the novels by the British author Julian Barnes. It focuses on postmodern aspects, the narrative voice, issues of objectivity, and on the authoritativeness of history.
