The Parental Alienation Syndrome as a Consequence of Divorce

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rozvodu a jeho možnému důsledku ? syndromu zavržení rodiče. Cílem empirické části diplomové práce je zjistit zkušenost rozvádějících se/rozvedených rodičů s rozvodem ve vztahu k dětem. Cíl výzkumu je specifikován výzkumnou otázkou: ?Jak vnímá rozvádějící se/rozvedený rodič vliv rozvodových sporů na vztah s dětmi??. Teoretická část nejprve pojednává o rozvodu manželství. Zabývá se rozvodovým procesem, péčí o děti i nevhodným chováním k nim a důsledky rozvodu. Dále představuje důležité poznatky o syndromu zavržení rodiče. V závěru pak popisuje roli sociálních pracovníků, psychologů a soudů při řešení syndromu zavržení rodiče. V empirické části je pomoci kvalitativní výzkumné strategie za využití metody případové studie zjišťována odpověď na výzkumnou otázku. Data získaná na základě rozhovoru jsou podrobena analýze a následně i interpretována.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with issue of divorce and possible consequence ? The Parental Alienation Syndrome. The aim of the empirical part of the thesis is to find out the experience of divorcing or divorced parents with divorce in relation to children. The aim of this research is to specify research question: "How does divorcing or divorced parents perceive the influence of divorce disputes on the relationship on children?". The theoretical part deals with divorce. It deals with the divorce process, childcare and with inappropriate behavior towards them and with the consequences of divorce. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with important knowledges about the parental alienation syndrome. At the end of this part is described the role of social workers, psychologists and the courts dealing with parental alienation syndrome. In the empirical part is detected the research answer to help of the qualitative research strategy using case study method. Research data based on individual interviews with parents are subsequently analyzed and interpreted.
