Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na placentu a její funkce. Teoretická část sumarizuje informace o placentě, plodových obalech a pupečníku. Zabývá se morfologií, funkcemi, patologiemi placenty a vedením III. doby porodní. Práce shrnuje možnosti zpracování a využití placenty po porodu, včetně placentových rituálů. This bachelor thesis is focused on the placenta and its functions. The theoretical part summarizes the information about the placenta, amniotic sac and umbilical cord. It deals with the morphology, functions, pathologies of the placenta and management of third stage of labour.
