The master's thesis deals with Cheb‘s Kaiserpfalz and its role in politics of the empire of Staufen emperors and kings. The emphasis is on aristocratic congress and the middle east of the Holy Roman Empire. The thesis describes the role of the Cheb´s Kaiserpfalz and aristocratic congress as a communication space between Staufen and duke‘s of the middle east of the Holy Roman Empire.
