V této dizertační práci byly zkoumány biologické účinky látek ze skupiny pentametiniových solí. Tyto látky byly testovány jako experimentální protinádorová léčiva a byl vypracován model jejich cytotoxického působení související s inhibicí mitochondriálních funkcí. This dissertation is focused on biological properties of pentamethinium salts. These compounds were tested as experimental anticancer drugs and based on our data, a model was proposed that describes mechanism of action of pentamethinium salts which is related to inhibition of mitochondrial functions.
