Economic development of the Luhačovice manor in the 17th century

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Hospodářský vývoj luhačovického panství v 17. století se zabývá rozborem urbářů z roku 1640, z let 1656–1659 a z roku 1664. Navíc je doplněna o lánový rejstřík panství z roku 1670, jehož účelem je charakterizovat a popsat ekonomické i sociální poměry na panství Luhačovice v 17. století. První část práce se věnuje mikrohistorické metodě práce a vnější a vnitřní kritice urbářů a lánového rejstříku. Druhá část je zaměřena na přehledný vývoj panství od konce 14. století do poloviny 17. století. Třetí část podává informace o reluovaných platech poddaných a o jejich robotě. Následuje popis režijního hospodaření na panství Luhačovice. Závěr práce se zabývá rozborem lánového rejstříku s přihlédnutím k populačnímu vývoji na panství.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Economic development of the Luhačovice manor in the 17th century deals with the analysis of the urbaria from 1640, 1656–1659 and 1664. Furthermore is supplemented by the field register from 1670 whose purpose is to characterise and describe the economic and social conditions on the Luhačovice manor in the 17th century. The first part is focused on the microhistorical method and the external and internal criticism of the sources. The second part discusses the development of the manor from the end of the 14th century to the second half of the 17th century. The third part describes salaries and statute labour of serfs. Than follows a description of the overhead economy on the Luhačovice manor. Finally, the work deals with an analysis of the field register with the regard to its population development on the manor.
