Tato práce analyzuje závislost mezi ekonomickými veličinami a úspěšností na letních olympijských hrách v letech 1996 až 2012. Tématem je zajímavý fenomén vlivu síly ekonomiky na sportovní úspěchy. Práce analyzuje, jestli se jedná o reálnou korelaci mezi HDP a pořadím národů na olympijských hrách, nebo jde o pouhou náhodu. This paper analyzes the relationship between economic variables and the success at the Olympic Games between 1996 and 2012. The topic is an interesting phenomenon of impact of the force of the economy to sports achievements.
