Development of Tourism in the Liberec Region by Supporting Businesses Operating in Tourism

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená na problematiku rozvoje cestovního ruchu a podporu podnikatelských subjektů v Libereckém kraji působících v cestovním ruchu. Autorka práci rozdělila do několika kapitol, kde jsou popsány teoretické prvky cestovního ruchu společně s činností Libereckého kraje, konkrétně odboru kultury, památkové péče a cestovního ruchu, a samotným hodnocením území Liberecka. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnocení rozvoje cestovního ruchu a potenciálu Libereckého kraje. Vedlejší cíl práce je věnován působnosti krajského úřadu a jeho odboru cestovního ruchu, kdy práce zjišťuje, jakými způsoby kraj podporuje podniky v cestovním ruchu. Dále je v práci prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření zjišťováno povědomí respondentů o rozvoji Libereckého kraje a odhaluje samotný postoj kcestovnímu ruchu u skupin rezidentů, návštěvníků a podnikatelských subjektů. Na základě provedené analýzy jsou v závěru práce navrhnuta opatření pro další rozvoj cestovního ruchu Libereckého kraje.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis aims to depict tourism development and its evaluation, along with potential and support of businesses operating in tourism within the Liberec region. The thesis is divided into several chapters, where theoretical elements of tourism are described, as well as activities of the Liberec region, specifically the Department of Culture, Monument Care and Tourism and the evaluation of the Liberec area itself. The secondary goal of the thesis deals with the competence of the regional office, its tourism department in particular, and the ways of supporting tourism enterprises. Furthermore, the thesis examines the awareness of respondents about the development of the Liberec region and reveals the very attitude to tourism among groups of residents, visitors and businesses. The final part assesses and suggests particular measures and improvements for the further development of tourism within the Liberec region.
