Multicultural Society as a Challenge for the Social Pedagogy

Abstract:

Práce Multikulturní společnost jako výzva pro sociální pedagogiku se věnuje migraci cizinců do České republiky a jejich používání transnacionálních sociálních sítí. V teoretické části je popisována krátká historie multikulturní společnosti v České republice, globalizace a migrace obyvatelstva. Autorka zde objasňuje pojmy transnacionalismus, transnacionální antropologie, transnacionální rodiny, transnacionální pole a transnacionální sociální sítě. V praktické části prostřednictvím rozhovorů a pozorování autorka zkoumá, jaký vliv mají transnacionální sociální sítě na život cizinců v České republice. Zaměřuje se na vliv transnacionálních sítí na začátku pobytu migranta v České republice a na jejich vliv v současné době. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakou roli hrají transnacionální sociální sítě v průběhu života migrantů v zemi, jaká jsou pozitiva a jaká úskalí těchto sítí a jaký z toho vyplývá přínos pro sociální pedagogiku.

Abstract:

The thesis Multicultural society as a challenge for the social pedagogy deals with the migration of foreigners in the Czech Republic and with the use of transnational social networks. In the theoretical part it describes a short history of the multicultural society in the Czech Republic, globalization and migration processes. The author explains the concepts of transnationalism, transnational antropology, transnational families, transnational fields and transnational social networks. In the practical part, through interview and observations the author examines the influence of transnational social networks on the life of foreigners in the Czech Republic. She focuses on the influence of transnational networks at the beginning of stay of migrants in the Czech Republic and the influence at the moment. The aim of the work is to determine the role played by transnational social networks during the life of migrants in the country, what the advantages and difficulties of transnational social networks are and what benefits are the consequences for social pedagogy.
