Personality Traits of Students in Helping Professions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku osobnostních předpokladů a vnímání významu pomoci u studentů pomáhajících profesí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje osobnostním předpokladům pomáhajících, charakteristice a úskalím pomáhajících profesí a seznámení s vybranými teoriemi typologie osobnosti. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována osobnostní typologii MBTI, která byla použita k výzkumu v praktické části. Praktická část zkoumá osobnostní typy a vnímání významu pomoci u studentů pomáhajících profesí a jejich vzájemnou souvislost.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on personality predispositions and perception of the importance of help among students in the helping professions. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with personality predispositions of helpers as well as the characteristics and pitfalls of the helping professions. It also introduces selected theories of personality typology. This part also pays special attention to the MBTI typology, which was used for research in the practical part. The practical part examines personality types and perception of the importance of help among students in the helping professions. It also explores the connection between the personality types and perception of help.
