The development of the political situation in Liberec between 1945-1948

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje politickému vývoji na Liberecku mezi lety 1945- 1948. Práce zohledňuje politické, hospodářské a sociální aspekty tohoto regionu v prvorepublikové éře. Její součástí je analýza předválečného Liberecka a zdejších politických poměrů, včetně výsledků voleb do parlamentu v roce 1935. Dále se práce věnuje také některým konkrétním událostem z dob okupace. Hlavní část práce se pak zabývá výzkumem politické situace na Liberecku v poválečném období. V tomto ohledu je pozornost zaměřena na řadu aspektů, které jsou s tímto tématem spojeny. Kromě poválečného hospodářství, vysídlení Němců a dosídlení Liberecka českým obyvatelstvem se jedná hlavně o místní rozložení politických sil. Ty jsou zde zohledněny za pomoci analýzy volebních výsledků do parlamentu v roce 1946 a analýzou jednotlivých politických celků v regionu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the political development in Liberec between 1945 and 1948. It takes into account the political, economic and social aspects of this region in the First Republic era. Theisis includes an analysis of pre-war Liberec and its political conditions, including the results of the parliamentary elections in 1935 and also deals with some specific events from the time of the occupation. The main part consists of research on the political situation in Liberec in the post-war period. In this regard, the work deals with several aspects that are connected with this topic. Apart from the post-war economy, the displacement of Germans and the resettlement of Liberec by the Czech population, it is mainly about the local distribution of political forces. These are taken into account with the help of the analysis of the election results to the parliament in 1946 and the analysis of individual political entities in the region.
