Audit procedures for the verification of receivables and payables

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Auditorské postupy při ověřování pohledávek a závazků“ se zabývá právní úpravou této oblasti, použitelnými metodami k ověření těchto účtů a aplikací u vybrané účetní jednotky. První část je zaměřena na teoretické aspekty auditu a právní předpisy upravující tuto oblast. V druhé části jsou přiblíženy auditorské metody používané k pokrytí identifikovaných rizik. Konkrétní rizika a metody ověřování u pohledávek a závazků jsou obsaženy ve třetí kapitole. Ve čtvrté kapitole je představena účetní jednotka XX a následně jsou v páté kapitole popsány použitelné metody k ověření pohledávek a závazků na základě identifikovaných rizik. V poslední kapitole je vypracován konkrétní souhrn navrhovaných postupů k ověření pohledávek a závazků u účetní jednotky XX.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis „Audit procedures for the verification of receivables and payables“ deals with legislation of this field, usable methods for verification of these accounts and application on selected entity. The first part is aimed at theoretical aspects of audit and legislation covering this field. In the second part are described general audit methods that are used to cover identified risks. Risks and methods connected to the receivables and payables are covered in the third chapter. In the fourth part is introduced the entity XX and subsequently the usable methods and procedures for verification of receivables and payables are described based on the identified risks. In the last part is executed overview of proposed methods for verification of receivables and payables in entity XX.
