Financing of Cultural Monuments Preservation

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce Financování ochrany kulturních památek je analýza současného stavu financování kulturních památek v České republice. V teoretické části jsou stručně uvedeny základní definice památkové péče, příslušná legislativa, organizační struktura památkové péče, práva a povinnosti vlastníka kulturní památky a mechanismy financování kulturních památek. Druhá část práce již nabízí demonstrování teoretických poznatků na konkrétní kulturní památce, katedrále sv. Václava v Olomouci. Analýza konkrétní situace při financování ochrany a obnovy kulturní památky a její údržby je porovnávána s dalšími možnostmi financování. Výsledkem je nalezení vhodných prostředků pro finanční zajištění kulturní památky a jejich využití vlastníkem katedrály sv. Václava.

Abstract:

The topic of bachelor thesis with the title Financing of Cultural Monuments Preservation is to analyze the current state of financing of cultural monuments in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part summarizes the basic definitions of conservation, the relevant legislation, organizational structure of conservation, the rights and obligations of owners of cultural monuments and cultural heritage funding mechanism. The second part demonstrates theoretical finding on a specific monument, the Cathedral of St. Wenceslas in Olomouc. Analysis of specific financing situation in the protection and restoration of cultural monuments and its maintenance is compared with other financing options. The result is to find appropriate means for financial security of cultural monuments and their use of the owner of the Cathedral St. Wenceslas.
