Care about gifted child

Abstract:

V diplomové práci jsem se zabývala především hledáním cest k co nejranější identifikaci nadaných dětí. Prověřovala jsem možnost využití dotazníku, který by vyplňovaly učitelky mateřských škol a k dalšímu zpracování předávaly pedagogicko-psychologickým poradnám. Dále jsem mapovala zájem rodičů a pedagogů z mateřských škol o téma mimořádného nadání a o spolupráci s poradnami. Diplomová práce se skládá z pěti kapitol. První tři kapitoly tvoří teoretickou část. Při psaní jsem čerpala jak z literatury, tak internetových zdrojů. Zabývala jsem se v nich definicí nadání, jeho rozpoznáváním a možnostmi rozvoje nadaných dětí. Výzkumnou část tvoří dvě kapitoly. Jedna je zaměřena na rozbor screeningu nadaných dětí v mateřských školách. Další kapitola je věnována navazujícím vyšetřením potenciálně nadaných dětí v pedagogicko-psychologických poradnách a rozborům výsledků těchto vyšetření. Všímám si v ní též postojů rodičů a učitelek mateřských škol k této problematice.

Abstract:

In my thesis, I mostly dealt with finding ways of the earliest possible identification of gifted children. I examined the possibility of using a questionnaire filled out by kindergarten teachers and submitted to pedagogical-psychological counselling centres for further processing. Moreover, I mapped the interest of parents and kindergarten teachers in the extraordinary talent issue and cooperation with counselling centres. The thesis consists of five chapters. The first three chapters focus on a theoretical part of the work. I gathered the given information both from literature and the Internet. It deals with the talent defining and the way of recognizing it, and with development possibilities for talented children. Two chapters are dedicated to the research part. One of them deals with an analysis of gifted children’s screening in kindergartens. The next chapter is devoted to the associated examinations of potentially gifted children in pedagogical-psychological counselling centres and analyses of these examinations’ results. It also notes attitudes of parents and kindergarten teachers to this issue.
