Creating a business plan and strategic planning in nonprofit organizations

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zdůvodnit potřebu strategického plánování v neziskových organizacích, předvést možný způsob strategického plánování, popsat nástroje strategického plánování a využít je při tvorbě podnikatelského plánu. První část práce charakterizuje neziskové organizace, umísťuje je v systému národního hospodářství a definuje jejich význam pro společnost. Dále navazuje rozbor plánování a strategického řízení s uvedením nástrojů strategického řízení jako například SWOT, PEST a Porterova analýza. Druhá část této práce se zabývá tvorbou podnikatelského plánu za využití Porterovy a SWOT analýzy.

Abstract:

The thesis focus to justify the importance of strategic planning in nonprofit organizations and demonstrate a possible way of strategic planning, eg. strategic planning tools to describe and use them when creating a business plan. The first part describes a non-profit organization, which is placed in the national economy and defines their importance to society. Then follows an analysis of strategic planning and management with an indication of the strategic management tools such as SWOT, PEST and Porter analysis. The second part of this work deals with creating a business plan using a Porter's and SWOT analysis.
