Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce představuje francouzskou sekci tzv. podzemní univerzity v Brně, tedy neoficiální bytové semináře, na které byly v letech 1985–1989 zvány významné osobnosti francouzského akademického prostředí. Práce je sestavena ze tří části. Teoretická část shrnuje vývoj československých dějin po druhé světové válce a zabývá se oficiálním vzděláváním během tzv. normalizace. Popisuje též podzemní univerzity jako obecný fenomén. Zaměřuje se rovněž na pražské bytové semináře a přibližuje i anglickou část podzemní univerzity v Brně. Empirická část představuje výsledky výzkumu, který se ubíral třemi směry. Nejprve jsou na základě archivních materiálů a rozhovorů s pamětníky detailně a chronologicky popsány realizované cesty francouzských akademiků do Brna, poté jsou shrnuty výsledky analýzy samizdatové produkce sledované brněnské skupiny a rovněž jsou představeny informace, které měly československé bezpečnostní složky k dispozici o existenci a činnosti francouzské podzemní univerzity. Didaktickou část tvoří projekt na téma „vývoj česko-francouzských vztahů ve 20. století“.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis presents the French section of so-called underground university in Brno – housing seminars to which important personalities of the French academic milieu were invited in the years 1985–1989. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part summarizes the development of Czechoslovak history after World War II and deals with official education during the so-called normalization. It also describes underground universities as a general phenomenon. It focuses on the Prague housing seminars and expounds the British part of the underground university in Brno as well. The empirical part presents the results of the research which went in three directions. First, in the basis of archival materials and interviews with witnesses, the journeys of French academicians to Brno are described in detail and chronologically, then the results of the analysis of the samizdat production of the studied Brno group are summarized and finally, the information known to the Czechoslovak security forces about the existence and activities of the French underground university is presented. The didactic part consists of a project on the topic “Development of Czech Republic–France relations during the 20th century”.
