Motivation of drug users for treatment in selected social service programs

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou motivace klientů k léčbě návykových látek v kontextu sociální práce. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo objasnění klíčových faktorů motivace k léčbě u osob se závislostí na návykových látkách a analyzovat, jak sociální práce ovlivňuje tyto motivace z pohledu klientů Doléčovacího centra Renarkon. Teoretická část práce definuje psychoaktivní a návykové látky, zkoumá pojem závislosti a motivaci, zejména motivaci ke změně. Dále se zaměřuje na sociální práci s uživateli návykových látek, systém péče o ně a následnou péči. Výzkumná část práce analyzuje faktory motivace u klientů a vliv sociální práce Doléčovacího centra Renarkon na jejich motivaci. Výzkum poskytuje poznatky o motivaci k léčbě a roli sociální práce v této oblasti.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of motivating clients to treat addictive substances in the context of social work. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to clarify the key factors of motivation for treatment in people with addiction to addictive substances and to analyse how social work affects these motivations from the perspective of Renarkon Treatment Center clients. The theoretical part of the work defines psychoactive and addictive substances, explores the concept of addiction and motivation, in particular motivation for change. It also focuses on social work with addictive users, the system of care and aftercare. The research part of the work analyses the factors of motivation in clients and the effect of social work of the Renarkon Treatment Centre on their motivation. The research provides insights into the motivation for treatment and the role of social work in this area.
