Hlavním cílem této práce je přispět k teoreticky ukotvenému porozumění roli EU jakožto manažera zamrzlých konfliktů v postsovětském prostoru. V práci jsou nejprve vymezeny koncepty zamrzlého konfliktu a managementu konfliktu, na což navazuje představení analytického rámce práce. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to theoretically anchored understanding of European Union in its role of manager of frozen conflicts in the post-Soviet space. For the purpose of the thesis, concepts of frozen conflict and conflict management are defined first.
