Application of the specific techniques of the Theory of Constraints in a selected enterprise

Abstract:

Teorie omezení funguje jako nástroj řízení pro trvalé zvyšování výkonnosti podniku. V USA se těší velkému úspěchu, zejména díky přínosu komplexního zhodnocení oblasti manažerského řízení. Její rozvoj probíhá rovněž v České republice. Cílem diplomové práce je představit nástroje teorie omezení a následně některé z nich aplikovat na konkrétní podnik v oblasti logistických aktivit. V aplikační části byl aplikován strom současné reality, diagram konfliktu a strom budoucí reality. Účelem aplikace těchto nástrojů je eliminovat nežádoucí efekty, které podniku brání ve zvyšování jeho výkonnosti.

Abstract:

The Theory of Constraints acts as a management tool for continuous improvement of the corporate performance. It has gained great success in the USA, mainlydue to the benefits of a comprehensive avaluation in terms of corporate management. It has been developing in the Czech Republic as well. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the tools of the Theory of Constraints and subsequently apply some of them to a specific company in the field of logistics activities. In the practical part of the thesis the techniques entitled Current Reality Tree, Evaporating Cloud and Future Reality Tree were applied. The purpose of application of these tools is to eliminace undesirable effects that prevent the company from in leasing efficiency.
