The Periods of Rest

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dobami odpočinku. Zamýšlí se obecně nad odpočinkem a vztahem mezi odpočinkem a připraveností zaměstnance k práci. Definuje právní pojem "doba odpočinku". Charakterizuje jednotlivé druhy dob odpočinku (přestávky v práci, nepřetržitý odpočinek mezi dvěma směnami, nepřetržitý odpočinek v týdnu, svátky, dovolenou na zotavenou). Na dovolenou na zotavenou klade větší důraz.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the periods of rest. It contemplates the rest generally and then it considers a relation between the rest and the working readiness of employee. It defines the legal concept „the period of rest“. It characterizes the constituent periods of rest (the breaks in the work, the uninterrupted rest between two shifts, the uninterrupted rest in the week, the national holiday, the convalescence holiday). It puts more emphasis on the convalescence holiday.
