Tato Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na překlad anglického odborného textu, a to zejména textu z oblasti návodů a instrukcí. Teoretická část práce se zabývá otázkou funkčních stylů v angličtině a poskytuje všeobecný přehled odborných stylů společně s jejich charakteristickými prvky.
