Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce "Finanční gramotnost a zadluženost osob nad padesát let" je odpověď na otázku, zdali zvýšení finanční gramotnosti může být východiskem z dluhové spirály. Teoretická část diplomové práce pojednává o problematice finanční gramotnosti v návaznosti na převratné ekonomické změny, ke kterým došlo po roce 1989. Popisuje základní pojmy, možnost získání finanční gramotnosti, včetně porovnání možnosti získání finanční gramotnosti dříve a dnes, upozorní na rizikové faktory dopadu zadlužení osob nad padesát let. Praktická část se zabývá charakteristikou zadlužených osob, jejich finanční gramotností, schopností splácet dluhy, vztahy rodiny a přátel, psychickou a somatickou složkou osobnosti. V praktické části bude použitý kvantitativní výzkum, ve formě testu, dotazníku a metody řízeného rozhovoru. Dále budou vyhodnoceny výsledky šetření, které zmapují životní situaci zadlužených osob. Zjištěné výsledky budou porovnány s kontrolní skupinou osob ve věku 18 30 let a budou přeneseny do tabulek. Tyto výsledky nám zároveň odpoví na otázku, která z kontrolních skupin je více finančně gramotná a zároveň proč? Výstupem této diplomové práce bude rozbor nezvládnutí ekonomické situace, s dopadem na kvalitu osobního života zkoumaných jedinců a to v oblastech sociální a psychické.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis "Financial Literacy and Debt issues of persons over fifty years" is the answer to the question whether increasing the financial literacy can be a way out of the debt spiral. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of financial literacy in relation to the revolutionary economic changes occurred after 1989. It describes the basic concepts, acquisition of financial literacy including a comparison of the possibility of obtaining financial literacy earlier and in these days, it highlights the risk factors of indebtedness of persons over fifty years. The practical part deals with the characteristics of indebted people, their financial literacy, ability to service debt, relationships among family members and friends, psychic and somatic components of personality . In the practical part quantitative research will be used with the form of questionnaire and guided interview method. The results of survey of life situation of indebted people will be also evaluated. The results will be compared with a control group of persons aged 18-30 years and will be transferred to the tables. These results will also answer the question of which of the control group is more financially literate and why is it so. The outcome of this thesis is to analyze the economic mismanagement of the situation , the impact on personal quality of life of individuals studied in all areas social and psychological.
