Celebrations, folk customs and traditions in the central part of the region Podřipsko in the 18th - 19th century.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tradicemi a slavnostmi spjatými s vesnicemi okolo hory Říp, a to s primárním zaměřením na obec Vražkov. Dále se práce zabývá obcemi Straškov-Vodochody, Kleneč, Mnetěš, Krabčice, Rovné či Ctiněves. Cílem práce je vyzkoumat a popsat slavnosti a zvyky ve vybrané lokalitě se zaměřením na 18.-19. století. Práce zkoumá jednotlivé slavnosti, zvyky a obyčeje výročního cyklu, které se vyskytovaly v centrální části Podřipska. Následně se je snaží mezi sebou porovnávat, jelikož se zvyky a slavnosti lišily i v takhle malém regionu. Vedle poznání by mohla mít práce i edukační význam, a to především pro místní obyvatele. Výsledky práce by mohly být podnětem k obnovení některých festivit. Proto je součástí práce také vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, které má za cíl zjistit, jaký mají místní obyvatelé zájem o zvyky, obyčeje a slavnosti a celkově jaké mají povědomí o této problematice.

Abstract:

This master thesis focused on traditions and festivals associated with villages around mount Říp with primary focus on the village Vražkov. Next explores are additioned by villages Straškov-Vodochody, Kleneč, Mnetěš, Krabčice, Rovné, and Ctiněves. The aim of the thesis is to examine and describe the festivals and customs in the selected area, with a focus on the 18th and 19th centuries. The thesis investigates various festivals, customs, and traditions that occurred in the central part of the region Podřipsko. It then attempts to compare them, as customs and festivals varied even within this a small region. In addition to contributing to knowledge, it could have educational significance, especially for local residents. The result of the thesis could serve as a stimulus for the revival of some festivities. The thesis also includes a questionnaire survey, which aims to determine the interest of local residents in customs, traditions, and festivals, and their overall awareness of this issue.
