The inner enemy in computers of our children

Abstract:

V mé diplomové práci se zabývám problematikou kyberšikany u žáků navštěvujících druhý stupeň základních škol. Především v ní však cílím na rodiče těchto dětí a na jejich schopnosti identifikovat projevy kyberšikany, předcházet jí a účinně řešit její případné následky. Právě rodiče dospívajících totiž považuji za nezastupitelný článek při prevenci této hrozby. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na změny, se kterými se v období pubescence dospívající střetávají, a vysvětluji jejich vztahy k novým informačním a komunikačním technologiím. Detailně popisuji veškeré aspekty kyberšikany a v souvislosti s ní uvádím i možnosti preventivních opatření, přičemž nejvíce prostoru poskytuji rodičovské prevenci. V empirické části podrobně rozebírám metodologii provedeného výzkumu a analyzuji a interpretuji výzkumným šetřením zjištěná data.

Abstract:

In my thesis I am dealing with cyberbullying among pupils attending the second stage of the primary school. Primarily, however, I am targeting to parents of these children and the parental ability to identify manifestation of cyberbullying, to prevent it and to deal effectively with its potential consequences. Exactly the parents of teens I consider for the irreplaceable part in preventing of such a threat. In the theoretical part I focus on the changes that teens have to be facing in the period of adolescence and make explanation to their relationship regarding new information and communication technologies. Herein is described in details all aspects of cyberbullying, and in connection with them there are mentioned options of preventive steps where the most space is provided to parental prevention. In the empirical part of my work, the methodology of the research is being analyzed in detail, as well as, found research survey data are being analyzed and interpreted there.
