Abstract:
Práca je rozdelená do dvoch častí: 1. krátky úvod do života a diela Remarquea, recepcia tohto diela pred aj po 2. svetovej vojne v Nemecku i Československu a interpretácia novely Na západe nič nové. 2. teória prekladu a porovnávanie českých a slovenských prekladov diela "Na západe nič nové" od B. Mathesiusa, F. Gela a M. Žuffu.
