Analysis of the wages and salaries in Central Bohemia

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu mezd a platů ve Středočeském kraji. První část práce je zaměřena na teoreticko-metodologické pojmy a statistické ukazatele, které jsou následně použity v praktické části. Praktická část práce obsahuje samotnou analýzu mezd a platů ve Středočeském kraji. Dle metodiky ISPV je mzdová sféra označena jako podnikatelská sféra a platová sféra jako nepodnikatelská sféra. Zatímco vývoj podnikatelské sféry je sledován od roku 2001 do roku 2010, vývoj nepodnikatelské sféry je z důvodu dostupnosti dat sledován pouze za období od roku 2005 do roku 2010. Obě sféry jsou analyzovány z hlediska mediánu hodinového výdělku, mediánu hrubé měsíční mzdy a průměru hrubé měsíční mzdy. Mediány hodinového výdělku jsou analyzovány i z pohledu jiných demografických či společenských ukazatelů. Těmito ukazateli jsou věkové kategorie, vzdělání a pohlaví.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of wages and salaries in Central Bohemia. The first part is focused on the theoretical-methodological terms and statistical indicators, which are then used in the practical part. The practical part of my thesis contains the analysis of wages and salaries in Central Bohemia. According to the methodology ISPV the wage sector is identified as the business sector and the salary sector as the public sector. The development of the business sector is monitored from 2001 to 2010, however, the development of the public sector is observed only within the period from 2005 to 2010. Both of these sectors are analyzed in terms of median hourly earnings, the median monthly gross wages and average monthly gross wages. Medians hourly earnings are analyzed from the perspective of other demographic and social indicators as well. These indicators include age groups, education and gender.
