Web Interface for Manipulation of Network Traffic Traces

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on network datasets sharing issues. The main goal of this thesis is to design and implement a component Trace-API. Trace-API is the main component of datasets sharing service called Trace-Share. Trace-API exposes REST API interface used for uploading, processing, searching and sharing datasets. Trace-Share service allows users to use semi-labeled datasets where annotated dataset is placed into dataset of real network traffic. This thesis also includes an implementation of automatic tests and script that allows simple deployment of this application.

Abstract:

Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou zdieľania sieťových datasetov. Hlavným cieľom tejto práce je návrh a implementácia komponenty Trace-API, ktorá tvorí hlavnú časť služby na zdieľanie datasetov - Trace-Share. Trace-API vystavuje REST API rozhranie, pomocou ktorého je možné nahrať, spracovať, vyhľadávať a zdieľať datasety. Služba Trace-Share umožňuje užívateľovi využívať tzv. čiastočne anotované datasety, kedy je anotovaný dataset vložený do datasetu, ktorý obsahuje reálnu sieťovú prevádzku. Súčasťou diplomovej práce je aj implementácia automatických testov a skript, pomocou ktorého je možné aplikáciu jednoducho nasadiť a spustiť.
