Panel estates: The process of humanisation, revitalisation and its future

Abstract:

Tato práce řeší problém velkého fenoménu panelových sídlišť. Popisuje okolnosti jeho vzniku a snaží se alespoň v malé míře obhájit důvody k jejich výstavbě. Práce se ale především pokouší řešit jejich současný, ne příliš dobrý a udržitelný stav. Se stavem panelových domů souvisí také jejich stále probíhající revitalizace. V této práci bude diskutováno, zda tato revitalizace probíhá správně či nikoliv, proč k ní vlastně muselo být přistoupeno a zmíněna bude i otázka jejího financování. S regenerací souvisí i humanizace panelových sídlišť, jejich polidštění a veškeré pozitivní změny od jejich výstavby v minulém století až dodnes. V této práci se tedy pozastavuji nad postupy a nápady v této oblasti, nad možnými řešeními a různými názory na toto téma. Stěžejním tématem pak je i budoucnost panelových domů jako takových, jejich udržitelný rozvoj a otázka atraktivnosti pro stávající i budoucí obyvatele. Panelových domů a lidí v nich žijících je mnoho, tudíž je více než potřebné se tímto tématem zabývat a snažit se nalézt co nejschůdnější řešení.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with solving the problem of the big phenomenon of panel estates. It describes the circumstances of its rise and tries at least at little rate argue the reasons for its construction. Mainly it tries to solve its up-to-date not really good and sustainable situation. This hangs together also with revitalisation of panel houses. It will be discussed here, if this revitalisation proceeds in wrong or right direction, why it was needed to come up to it and also the question of its funding will be mentioned. The revitalisation is also connected with the humanisation of panel estates, their better appearance and all the positive changes, which occurred here from its inception. Thus, this thesis dwells over the procedures and ideas in this area, over possible solutions, and various opinions in this topic. The future of panel houses is another key topic of this thesis. Their sustainable development and the question of attractiveness for its current and future inhabitants will be discussed here. There is a plenty of panel houses and people living inside, therefore it is more than needed to deal with this issue and to try to find the most feasible solution.
