Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá vybranými knihami Theodora Geisela alias Dr. Seusse jakožto významného autora a ilustrátora dětské literatury v USA, který se v současné době stal terčem kritiky a jehož některá díla jsou stažena z oběhu, zakázána a nadále se přestaly používat k edukativním účelům. The thesis deals with pointing out some of the problematic issues connected mainly with racial subtext, explicit or implicit racism, supremacy, and superiority of one race over another in Dr Seuss's body of work.
