Tato práce je zaměřená na zkoumání různých jazykových aspektů v pohádkách Clemense Brentana. V úvodu je uvedeno několik historických skutečností k životu a dílu autora. Následuje přehled pohádek, jejich rozdělení a vývoj. Poté následuje rozbor samotný. Zde je pozornost zaměřena převážně na substantiva z pohledu vlastních jmén, archaismů a historismů.
