Interpretation of Labyrinth of the world and paradise of the hearth by J.A. Comenius in the studies of Jan Patočka.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca je zameraná na problematiku Komenského Labyrintu v zábere Jana Patočku. Patočkov výklad organicky naväzuje na jeho úsilie na poli fenomenologickej filozofie a filozofie dejín. Bakalárska práca ukáže vnútornú myšlienkovú súvislosť Patočkovho výkladu Labyrintu s jeho premýšľaním o otázkach týkajúcich sa Európy a doby poeurópskej, s motívom starosti o dušu, téma otvorenej a uzavretej duše, s náukou o troch pohyboch existencie a s úvahami o vlastnej a nevlastnej existencii. Patočka pristupoval k dielu ako filozof a fenomenológ. Pre hlbšie premýšľanie Labyrintu využijeme interpretáciu ukrajinského slavistu Dmytra Čyževského, ktorý ku Komenského dielu pristupoval z hľadiska histórie a literárneho spracovania, a tým nám poskytol nový a celistvý materiál.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of Comenius' Labyrinth from the perspective of Jan Patočka. Patočka´s interpretation follows organically on his effort in the field of phenomenological philosophy and philosophy of history as well. The thesis shows the inner ideas connection of Patočka's interpretation of the Labyrinth in accordance with his way of thinking about the questions related to Europe and the post-European age, with the motive of soul care, the theme of an open and closed soul, the doctrine of three movements of existence and reflections on authentic and non authentic existence. Patočka approached the work as a philosopher and phenomenologist. For a deeper reflection on the Labyrinth, we use the interpretation of the Ukrainian slavist Dmytro Chyzhevsky, who approached Comenius' work from the point of view of history and literary processing and thus provided us with new and holistic material.
