The context of Huses writings and literary and theological study of Huses work De ecclesia

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá kontextem Husovy tvorby v nejširším slova smyslu. Ve stručnosti je nastíněn společenský a politický vývoj v období pozdního středověku a role církve jak na mezinárodní úrovni, tak konkrétně v českých zemích. V souvislosti s problémy, jaké církev v tomto období měla, se práce dále zabývá reformními snahami o obrodu církve obecně v Evropě (John Viklef) a následně podrobněji u nás (tzv. Husovi předchůdci). Literární kontext zahrnuje charakteristiku literatury v husitském období, její znaky, tendence a propagované žánry. Druhá část práce se zabývá Husovým dílem O církvi, nejvýznamnějším spisem z hlediska jeho učení a kostnického procesu. Je uveden kontext vzniku díla, literární rozbor (žánr, téma, hlavní myšlenky, kompozice, výrazové prostředky) a teologický rozbor (srovnání s katolickou věroukou, hledání styčných, ale zejména odlišných bodů).

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on the context of Huses writings in the largest sense. Shortly the thesis outlines political and social aspects of the Late Middle Age and position of Church in both international relations and the Czech lands. With regards to the problems of Church in this epoch the thesis states reformative tendencies for the re-birth of Church in Europe (John Wycliffe) and then in the Czech lands (so-called Huses precursors). Literary context contains general characterization of the literature in the period of Hussitism, its aspects, tendency and genres. The other part of the thesis underlines Huses writing De ecclesia (About Church), the most important work in light of his teachings and the process in Kostnice. It is brought out the circumstances of genesis of the writing, literary analysis (genre, theme, main ideas, composition, phraseology and wordage) and theological analysis (comparison with catholic doctrine, finding consensual and different aspects).
