Předmětem této bakalářské práce je formální analýza filmu Panna a netvor (1978) od Juraje Herze, adaptace slavné pohádky o Krásce a zvířeti. Film nabízí ozvláštňující interpretaci námětu skrze hororové konvence, ovšem zároveň zůstává pohádkou. Práce vysvětluje, jak této transformace z jednoho žánrového modu do jiného dosahuje. Abstract:
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a formal analysis of the film Beauty and the Beast (1978), also known as The Virgin and the Monster, directed by Juraj Herz, an adaptation of the famous fairy-tale of Beauty and the Beast.
