Ethical hacking in the Czech Republic from the perspective of current actors

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá výzkumem fenoménu etického hackingu v České republice a také současnými aktéry v tomto odvětví. V rámci teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na samotný vznik etického hackingu, jeho historii v ČR, podporou od státu, spoluprací s policií či dalšími institucemi. Bakalářská práce obsahuje také praktickou část, jejíž součástí je empirický výzkum proveden za pomoci kvalitativního šetření formou rozhovorů přímo s českými aktéry zabývajícími se etickým hackingem. Práce se snaží zodpovědět výzkumné otázky týkající se například motivace etických hackerů, schopnosti zůstat morální či popisem jejich práce.

Abstract:

This work focuses on the research of the phenomenon of ethical hacking in the Czech Republic and its current actors. Within the theoretical part, this work focuses on the origin of ethical hacking, its history in the Czech Republic, state support and cooperation with the police or other institutions. This work also contains a practical part, which includes empirical research conducted with qualitative research in the form of interviews with Czech actors involved in ethical hacking. The work tries to answer research questions which concerns about the motivation of ethical hackers, the ability to remain moral or a description of their work.
