Tato práce se zabývá mikrodelečními syndromy a možnostmi jejich detekce. Úvodní část práce ve stručnosti shrnuje současné možnosti klinické genetiky při odhalování těchto aberací, přičemž se detailněji věnuje konkrétním metodám používaným na Oddělení lékařské genetiky Fakultní nemocnice Brno.
