Gem as a clothing accessory

Abstract:

My Batchelor thesis deals with clothing, clothing accessories and creation of jewellery. In the theoretical part of my work I describe the history of jewellery and clothing. I think about the present and the future of the gem. In the practical part of the Batchelor thesis I present my own production of a formal dress and a gem as a clothing accessory. There are also mention textile techniques and fabrics. In the end of the practical part I describe technique of making the dress and jewellery.

Abstract:

Vo svojej bakalárskej práci sa venujem odievaniu, odevným doplnkom a šperkárskej tvorbe. V teoretickej časti bližšie opisujem históriu šperkov a odevov a zamýšľam sa nad súčasnosťou a budúcnosťou odevných doplnkov. V praktickej časti predstavujem vlastnú tvorbu spoločenských šiat a šperku ako odevného doplnku. Zmieňujem sa o rôznych textilných technikách a textilných materiáloch a opisujem postup práce zhotovenia šiat a šperku.
